Dr. Paula Amato is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Associate Professor of OB/GYN at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, OR. Dr. Amato obtained her medical degree and completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Toronto in Canada. She then completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the University of California, San Diego. She also holds a Master in Clinical Research from OHSU. Dr. Amato is a long-time clinician, scientist, educator, and advocate on a variety of women’s health issues. She is Director of the OHSU Egg Donation Program and serves as Chair of the ASRM Ethics Committee. Dr. Amato’s clinical and research interest include the areas of infertility, menopause, environmental reproductive toxicity, and complementary and alternative therapies. |

Dr. Hort, has created a wellness center with a hand picked team of practitioners to support women and their families through pregnancy and life with baby. It was created in the spirit of, “It takes a village to raise a child.” This center and her extended referral network is that village. Here to help women and their families thrive. She is continually training in pediatric and pregnancy care; has attended over 150 births – in hospitals, homes and in birth centers; cared for patients hand in hand with midwives, doulas, naturopaths, nurses and medical doctors; has an extensive network of healthcare providers; has held numerous workshops and participated in prenatal classes with the ultimate goal of moms having the experience they want to have, and their babies entering this world with grace. |

Konecne of Valley Family Practice is Board Certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Dr. Konecne embraces the osteopathic holistic approach to care – realizing there are internal and external forces that affect an individual’s health. Dr. Konecne received her Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Colorado, in Boulder and spent the next four years teaching junior high school science in Los Angeles. Continuing her education she earned her Doctorate of Osteopathy from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, and went on to complete her Residency in Family Medicine at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Hospital in Denver, where she served as chief resident. In her private life, Dr. Konecne is a busy mom with two energetic daughters. She loves spending time with her supportive family camping, agate hunting at the coast, and shopping for bargains. |
